Com tr\u00eas voltas a um percurso com cerca de 45 quil\u00f3metros que foi percorrido por tr\u00eas vezes pelos 122 pilotos que cumpriram o processo de verifica\u00e7\u00f5es t\u00e9cnicas e administrativas no dia de ontem e foi por isso autorizados a partir para a dura jornada deste primeiro dia.<\/p>\n

Com duas longas especiais desenhadas para esta prova de abertura do campeonato europeu de enduro a caravana encontrou na primeira fase do dia um percurso seco e com muito p\u00f3 a ser levantado, situa\u00e7\u00e3o que se inverteu quando chegaram algumas gotas de chuva \u00e0 regi\u00e3o junto \u00e0 Serra de Estrela.<\/p>\n

Entre as pedras e o muito p\u00f3 o exigente tra\u00e7ado assistiu tamb\u00e9m a uma surpreendente vit\u00f3ria do jovem j\u00fanior Theophile Espinasse, piloto franc\u00eas que tomou de assalto as vit\u00f3rias nas especiais e venceu as quatro primeiras especiais para assegurar uma vantagem que deixou caminho livre para que Nicolas Pellegrinelli e Anthony Geslin fossem os mais r\u00e1pidos nas derradeiras duas especiais do dia,<\/p>\n

O piloto franc\u00eas tinha o segundo posto assegurado mas foi vitima de um problema na sua moto que ditou um minuto de atraso na chegada ao derradeiro controle hor\u00e1rio e desta forma a descida ao 14\u00ba posto, posi\u00e7\u00e3o nade de acordo com o esfor\u00e7o feito pelo piloto da Beta ao longo do dia. Seria o tamb\u00e9m franc\u00eas David Abgrail a subir ao degrau mais baixo do p\u00f3dio no final desta primeira jornada na frente de Pellegrinelli e Jean-Batiste Nicolot, o melhor dos representantes da equipa do ex\u00e9rcito franc\u00eas.<\/p>\n

Com oito classes distintas em prova as vit\u00f3rias ficaram nas m\u00e3os do brit\u00e2nico Daniel Mundell nos J\u00fanior Sub-20; o franc\u00eas Jeremy Miroir foi o melhor nos Junior E1, cabendo a Espinasse a vit\u00f3ria na classe Junior E2 e E3. Entre os S\u00e9nior foi o sueco Andreas Linusson o primeiro e o italiano Nicolas Pellegrinelli o mais r\u00e1pido na E2 cabendo ao igualmente transalpino Oscar Balletti o primeiro lugar em E3.<\/p>\n

A australiana Jessica Gardiner venceu entre as senhoras naquela que foi a sua primeira prova neste campeonato enquanto que Arne Domeyer foi o melhor nos Veteranos. Entre os pilotos da classe Open, aberta tamb\u00e9m aos pilotos lusos que optaram por participar na prova, a vit\u00f3ria coube ao chileno Ruy Barbosa.<\/p>\n

Quanto \u00e0 comitiva portuguesa, Tom\u00e1s Clemente foi 12\u00ba e Manuel Teixeira 16\u00ba nos J\u00faniores Sub-20; Andr\u00e9 Martins o nono na J\u00fanior E1; Jo\u00e3o Vivas foi igualmente o nono mas na classe S\u00e9nior E2 e Rita Vieira a s\u00e9tima nas Senhoras.<\/p>\n

Amanh\u00e3 realiza-se o segundo dia de competi\u00e7\u00e3o com um percurso exactamente igual ao que foi hoje utilizado. A degrada\u00e7\u00e3o do mesmo ser\u00e1 mais um obst\u00e1culo perante os concorrentes que no regresso a parque-fechado se mostraram bastante agradados com o percurso e condi\u00e7\u00f5es deste dia de abertura do europeu de enduro 2017. A partida ser\u00e1 novamente \u00e1s nove horas da manh\u00e3 no Parque Senhora dos Verdes, onde est\u00e1 instalado o centro nevr\u00e1lgico da competi\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n
