Often has been said and written that there is nothing more strenuous than a Trial of long distance. This was the first name of Enduro, or if you prefer, was here that “was born” the Enduro. These sports competitions were initiated in the beginning of the last century, served to demonstrate the performance and fiability of riders and bikes in extensive route and with a high degree of difficulty and hardness. Naturally, England was the crib of the modality when the bike started to be used for military due of ease of transposition of obstacles and higher efficiency compared to the horses.
