Enduro is a race that regularly takes place in a course of rails, tracks or roads open to normal traffic. Integrated into the route, there are several special timed stages, in which the rider’s performance is decisive for their classification.

Shall be 3 or more laps around the route on each day of the event. Each lap should have a maximum distance of 50 kilometers, including the special stages. The maximum time to complete every lap should be 1h30m and the duration of each day of competition must be between five and seven hours.

The first biggest competition happened in 1902 when the Moto Cycle of France organized an International Cup with 54 Km “traveled” by 5 times. Here may have been born the International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE), obviously with different rules of the current, but since then with six teams composed by three riders each: France, England, Austria, Hungary, Denmark and Germany. Became clear that it was necessary to establish the first regulation for Enduro.
